Level 1 - Building a Strong Foundation

Building A Strong Foundation is a progressively structured 10 week entry level pilates exercise program. It’s specifically designed for patients who have progressed to exercise based rehabilitation or for those who are interested in starting a pilates based program for the first time run by a physiotherapist and exercise physiologist. The aim of Building A Strong Foundation is to regain postural symmetry, muscular strength and endurance, providing a framework for Freedom to Move.

 

All patients are required to have an initial physiotherapy assessment to determine their suitability for the program. General functional movement patterns, lumbo-pelvic stability, balance and core strength will be assessed.

 

Please wear comfortable workout clothing. Bring a towel and water bottle.

 

 

Level 2 - Freedom to Move

Freedom to Move is a 10 week intermediate level pilates based exercise program, combining principles of mat pilates with specialized equipment. This program is designed to create flawless motion, using arcs, barrels, reformer, trapeze, and combo chair. The aim of Freedom to Move is to create a platform for improved motor learning and skill refinement.

 

Pre-Requisite:
previous pilates experience or completion of Building a Strong Foundation.

 

Please wear comfortable workout clothing. Bring a towel and water bottle.

 

 

Level 3 - Rhythm & Flow

An advanced level 10 week advanced level Pilates based exercise program to refine your movement patterns with advanced sequencing.

 

Pre-Requisite:
previous pilates experience or completion of Freedom to Move
